Accessibility statement

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control or magnification. We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we do

• Semantic page structure with landmarks, headings and a “skip to main content” link
• Full keyboard use with a visible focus indicator
• Text and controls with sufficient color contrast; text can be zoomed to 200% without losing content
• Form fields with visible labels and clear status messages
• Motion is reduced when your device asks for it
• The sites we build for clients follow the same approach

Known limits

The introduction video on the About page will have captions when it is published. Links to third-party sites are outside our control.

Tell us about a barrier

If something is hard to use, email hello@habitatlocal.com with the page and what happened. We reply within 2 business days and work to fix it.
