Who we are

Habitat Local, run by Matheus Geller, provides websites and content tools for small businesses in the United States. Contact: hello@habitatlocal.com.

What we collect

• Demo request form: your name, business name, city and state, trade, phone or email, and an optional Google Maps or Instagram link.
• Emails and messages you send us, and what you tell us on calls.
• Public business information such as your Google Business Profile and public Instagram page, which we use to prepare your demo.

This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.

How we use it

To prepare and send your demo, to reply to you, to provide the service if you become a client, and to keep records. We do not sell your information.

Calls

If we record or transcribe a call, we ask your permission first, because some states require everyone’s consent.

Cold email and messages

If we contact a business first, we identify ourselves, say why, and include a way to opt out. Reply “stop” and we will not contact you again.

Who processes your data

We store form data with Cloudflare (hosting and database). Payments, when you subscribe, are handled by Stripe, and we do not see or store your full card number.

Retention

Demo requests that do not become clients are deleted after 12 months. Client records are kept for the length of the service and as required for taxes and accounting.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time. If you are in California or another state with privacy laws, you have the rights those laws give you. Email hello@habitatlocal.com.

Children

Our services are for businesses and not directed to children under 13.
